The Taste of Chicago is getting a little healthier this year with participation from the nation’s leading grassroots education program for healthy eating and activity, the Healthy Kids Challenge. Healthy Kids Challenge, the award-winning national non-profit, is joining in the festivities of the 27th Annual Taste of Chicago on July 2.

Healthy Kids Challenge is displaying their Walk through the Pyramid,™ an interactive journey through each of the food groups in the food pyramid. This is the first time Walk through the Pyramid™ will be featured at the Taste of Chicago.

Executive Director, Vickie James, stated “We’re thrilled to be a part of ‘America’s City Picnic’ showcasing affordable, simple steps for Chicagoans to create healthy lifestyles.
